Last Updated: June 25, 2025
At MDDATA, we respect your right to control your personal data. This Delete Account Policy outlines the process for requesting the deletion of your account and associated data from our Virtual Top-Up (VTU) application for airtime, data, and bill payments in Nigeria. As our app requires users to create an account and log in, we provide a clear mechanism for account deletion in compliance with the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR).
Only registered users aged 18 and older who have an active MDDATA account can request account deletion. We do not knowingly collect data from users under 18, and such accounts, if discovered, are terminated immediately.
To delete your MDDATA account and all associated personal data, please follow these steps:
We may contact you to verify your identity to ensure the request is legitimate.
Upon successful verification, we will delete all personal data associated with your account, including:

Your data is protected with industry-standard encryption and security measures during the deletion process. We do not share, sell, or disclose your data to third parties, except as required by law (e.g., court orders).
